Kirtley-Cole Associates teamed with Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems on the construction of their new facility in Kirkland. The new facility for the growing Astronics AES consists of 98,238 square feet of office, cabin electronics, production, testing and engineering, receiving and shipping, and material storage areas. The project team completed a tenant improvement to two existing buildings originally constructed 5 years prior, as well as a 5,580-square-foot expansion to connect the two buildings. The team utilized Building Information Modeling to more efficiently design and construct the project.
