Twin Lakes Landing Phase II – Housing Hope

Twin Lakes Landing Phase II – Housing Hope

Kirtley-Cole continued our long-standing partnership with Housing Hope with the new construction of Twin Lakes Landing Phase II.

The project totals 56,000 SF and includes 4 buildings that house 60 apartment units: 6 one-bedroom units, 34 two-bedroom units, and 20 three-bedroom units. Additional amenities include a play area and picnic shelter; sports court; p-patch garden area; gathering and training spaces; and support staff offices.

The project was awarded the designation of a Phius Certified Project (CORE passive building standard) and certified through Washington’s Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard. It features a super-insulated building envelope, energy-efficient ventilation, solar panels on all buildings, low-energy heating systems, ultra-efficient heat exchangers, and pervious concrete for the entire parking area. The existing wetlands on the west 1/3 of the site were reserved as an enhanced natural wetland, while rain gardens and pervious pavements infiltrate stormwater and help to recharge local streams and enhance water quality.
