King’s Schools Science and Technology Building

King’s Schools Science and Technology Building

Kirtley-Cole Associates teamed with CRISTA Ministries and King’s Schools to construct a new 3-story, 26,461 SF science and technology building on the occupied King’s Schools campus. The new building is located immediately to the south of the current King’s High School on the CRISTA Ministries campus.

The new building houses 15 state-of-the-art classrooms. King’s Junior High has two classrooms each for science and mathematics, and one technology laboratory. King’s High School has four classrooms each for science and mathematics, one technology laboratory and one teacher/student collaboration classroom.

This project, which addresses King’s facility and curriculum needs for STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), was identified as one of the four highest priorities for the CRISTA organization, and the top priority for the King’s Schools ministry. The building creates an environment for critical thinking unmatched among educational institutions in this region. With the equipment and facilities that this project enables, King’s is able to make the necessary leap within STEM subjects.
